Position Summary
Community College Instructor or Assistant Professor will teach courses in developmental English, rhetoric and composition, technical and scientific communication, business and professional communication, and writing in the humanities.
Requirements for the Position:
Will be assigned to teach on a 9-month contract of 15 credit hours per semester. Must conduct ongoing assessment of courses. Must be willing to teach weekends and evenings as assigned. Must teach effectively to a diverse student body. Must participate in professional development activities. Must participate in various committees for the benefit of Southeast New Mexico College. Must be willing to develop and teach online courses. Must be willing to live in Carlsbad, New Mexico.
